Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 large eggs, beaten (optional)

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. 3Add the chopped onion and celery to the skillet and sauté until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. 4In a large bowl, combine the cubed bread, sautéed vegetables, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  5. 5Pour the broth over the bread mixture and stir until the bread is evenly moistened.
  6. 6If using, add the beaten eggs and mix well to combine.
  7. 7Fold in the chopped parsley for added flavor.
  8. 8Transfer the stuffing mixture to a greased baking dish.
  9. 9Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
