Ice Cube Tray Sushi & Spicy Tuna Poke Bowl Hey guys, welcome back to another episode of Angie's Table. Summer is here! Kids are on break and figuring out meals can become tiresome. Here's a super neat idea to freshen up your summer and an activity that even kids will love! ICE CUBE TRAY SUSHI & POKE BOWL Sushi Rice Ingredients: 2 Cups uncooked glutinous rice 2ΒΌ Cups water β Cup Vinegar Drizzle of sesame oil 1 tsp sugar Directions: 1. Wash and cook 2 Cups of rice in 2ΒΌ Cups of water. 2. Transfer to a larger bowl. 3. Add vinegar, sesame oil, and sugar over the rice. Mix well and set aside. ICE CUBE TRAY SUSHI Prep Time: 5-10 minutes Yields: 2 servings β of the rice Sushi grade Salmon Sushi grade Tuna 2 Shrimp, large Masago 1 Cucumber Avocado Soy sauce Wasabi Directions: 1. Separate 2/3 of the sushi rice from what we made earlier. 2. Using 2/3 of cucumber (length of ice cube mold in tray), peel thin slices. Slice avocado matching size to the length of the ice cube mold in try as well. Cut shrimp in halves and cut salmon and tuna thinly. Set aside. 3. Place plastic wrap over the ice cube tray. make sure to use almost double the amount of plastic wrap. Fold into the mold. 4. Place ingredients down at the bottom. Add some wasabi (optional) over the fish. Pack with rice on top. 5. Flip the tray over and take off plastic wrap. You may add masago as you please. 6. Enjoy with some soy sauce and wasabi! POKE BOWL Prep Time: 10 minutes Yields: 1 serving Ingredients: β of the rice Edamame Salmon Sriracha mayo Spicy tuna mix Cucumber Avocado Grape tomatoes Lemon slice Masago Black sesame seeds Directions: 1. Cube up avocado, slice cucumbers, cut grape tomatoes in halves, slice radish thinly. 2. To a bowl of the remaining sushi rice, top with ingredients above alternating in color. 3. Garnish with lemon slices and top off with sriracha mayo, masago, and black sesame seeds. Enjoy!
