Brush half a teaspoon of olive oil on each tomato half & season with salt and pepper. Grill each side of the tomatoes for 4-5 minutes until lightly charred. Remove from grill and top with parmesan and basil. Place on indirect side of grill until the parmesan has melted. Serve warm. Tips: Goats milk cheese, mozzarella, burrata and provolone all work well as a substitute for the parmesan in this recipe. This is a great simple starter for any meal.
