Maja corn jelly is a dessert inspired by another famous filipino dessert maja blanca. Maja jelly is a business recipe which is very easy to make. You can also try this recipe for special occasions or festive seasons. More : Paano gumawa ng maja jelly, pang negosyo recipe Maja corn jelly ingredients 5 cups water 2 packs yellow unflavored gelatin ( Mr. gulaman ) 1 & 1/2 cup coconut milk (or evaporated milk) 1 & 1/2 cup condensed milk ( or you can use sugar) 1 cup cream of corn 4 tbsp cornstarch dilute in ½ cup water Grated cheese for topping 1/2 cup kernel(whole) corn for topping INSTRUCTIONS 1. In a large pot, pour 5 cups of water and dissolve 2 packs of yellow unflavored gelatin powder. 2. Stir until well dissolved and no granules visible. 3. Heat the mixture in a medium-low heat, add the condensed milk, coconut milk (evaporated milk), and cream of corn, stir gently. 4. When it starts to boil, dilute the cornstarch with ½ cup water and pour it into the pot. Mix until well incorporated and continue to cook for about 2 minutes while stirring constantly. 5. Prepare molds/containers. 6. Gently pour the maja jelly mixture. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set. 7. To serve, turn the mold upside down on a serving plate.
