Welcome my friends. This week I am going to show you how to make a coconut tres leches cake. This tres leches cake has a little twist, we are making it with coconut and coconut rum. Coconut Tres Leches Cake 1 cup of flour 1 1/2tsp of baking powder 1/4 tsp of salt 5 eggs ( separated) 3/4 cup of sugar ( add to yolks) 1 tsp of vanilla 1/3 cup of milk 1/4 cup of sugar for the egg whites 3 milk goodness to our on your cake 1/3 of heavy whipping cream 1 can (12oz can of evaporated of milk ) 9-10 oz of condensed milk Whipped Cream Topping 2 cups of heavy cream 1/2 cup of sugar 1 tsp of your favorite extract Bake your cake for about 30 minutes in a 350-degree oven. After it cools mix up your three milks to top it with. You will need to toast your coconut in an oven for about ten minutes at 350-400. Keep an eye on the coconut and every few minutes, turn and rotate the coconut so it browns evenly. Then whip up your whipped cream topping and place it on your cake. You can serve it immediately or place it in your refrigerator. I like to refrigerate it for a few hours so all the flavors can merry and taste delicious. Serve and enjoy.
