Grandpa's Beef Stew is what's on the menu for supper tonight y'all! We also make some very easy Autumn Fudge Bars for our movie night treat! Grandpa's Beef Stew: Ingredients: 1 package Kinders Grandpa's Beef Stew seasoning packet 3-4 pounds stew meat, cubed 4 cups vegetables, (like potatoes, carrots, & onions) 1 1/2 cups water or beef broth 1 tablespoon tomato paste Directions: Add all ingredients to slow cooker. Cover and cook on low 8 hours. For the cornbread I just use the southern cornbread recipe on the back of the Martha White cornmeal bag. Autumn Fudge Bars Ingredients: 1/2 cup white cake mix 1 can sweetened condensed milk 1 cup chocolate chips, plus more for topping 1 cup peanut butter chips Reece's Pieces, for topping Fall sprinkled, for topping Directions: Line an 8X8 casserole dish with foil or parchment paper. Mix the cake mix and condensed milk in a bowl. Dived the mixture into two bowls. Add the peanut butter chips to one, and the chocolate chips to the other. Microwave the peanut butter bowl for one minute. Stir to melt and mix in the pb chips. Pour into lined dish. Do the same thing with the chocolate chip bowl and pour over the pb layer. Top with toppings of your choice. Refrigerate for two hours before slicing.
