Tempering and Mixing: * Heat 1 tbsp coconut oil in a pan. * Add 1/2 tsp mustard seeds, 1 tsp cumin seeds, and a pinch of asafoetida. * Add 1-2 chopped green chilies and 12-15 curry leaves. * Sauté for a minute until aromatic. * Add the cooked chickpeas to the pan. * Add salt as per taste (adjusting for previous salt addition) and a pinch of turmeric powder. * Mix well, ensuring all ingredients are combined. * Add 2 tbsp fresh grated coconut. * Mix well again and cook for 2 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
