Video Description

I've never done a spatchcock jerk smoked chicken before, it just seemed such a hassle cutting out the spine and messing with all that junk. I could have just as easily asked the butcher to do it like normal folks. Well, then that wouldn't make this Jerk Chicken spatchcocked and smoked on the Traeger Pellet Grill to perfection. We used a jerk seasoning, pepper, and a spicy garlic seasoning plus avocado oil to make it all stick. While it smoked on the traeger it got a healthy painting of a garlic herb butter and oil bath. Toward the end we painted it with our favorite BBQ sauce. When the breast meat showed 170 internal temp it was time to eat! We hope you enjoy this video tutorial and share it with all your friends!
